Between Two Passovers is a documentary which explores a family taking leave of their dying father. The family consists of two brothers and three sisters who grew up in a small apartment in Haifa and, in the course of time, left to follow their dreams. They return to the home that once served as a warm cushion for growth and nurturing the family's ideal and values, to find that it has now become a death cradle for the head of the family.
The new situation, which becomes a reality test of the family's unity and devotion, is seen from the point of view of the daughter Sharon who filmed the events, Will they come through it as one strong unit? What role will their childhood play at this difficult time?
The viewer is offered a special experience moving between the limits of what can be made public and what should remain private, of ethics and morals, and of the struggle between the importance of creation as opposed to the depth of exposure.
